We’re proud to announce that McConechy’s and Gordons Tyres are now part of Halfords.

McConechy’s, Gordons Tyres and Halfords all share a heritage to be proud of, and have passion to help and support customers with their motoring needs, providing a super specialist service in vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs.

Halfords acquired McConechy’s in November 2019. Since the acquisition, McConechy’s colleagues have continued to provide comprehensive garage services and a 24-hour breakdown service (for commercial customers) across 55 sites and 93 vans.

Bringing McConechy’s and Gordons into the Halfords family creates an unrivalled network of garages, retail stores and mobiles vans. Customers across the UK now have access to 900 service locations and over half of UK households are only a 15 minute drive from their local Halfords.
